Retriever Pouch for collecting excised tissue in minimally invasive surgery
The retriever pouch consists of a special, highly tearproof membrane which is attached to a nitinol ring. Nitinol is a special metal alloy with a high memory effect. Therefore, the retriever pouch always opens automatically in the same opening position as soon as it has been released from the shaft. This facilitates the collection of the excised tissue enormously and supports the standardisation of the operation procedure.
The retriever pouch is available in the following sizes:
40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 130 mm.
